Premium Audyssey Room Correction Technologies
Denon AV receivers use the Audyssey EQ suite for easy, accurate setup and calibration. Using the included Audyssey measurement microphone, Audyssey measures all your home theater speakers and adjusts the AV receiver for the smoothest and most optimal listening experience in your room. 11-Channel Processing, 9-Channel Amplification

With an external 2-channel amplifier—assignable to the front left and right or a pair of height channels—you can configure an 11-channel speaker setup (e.g., 7.1.4), giving you even more flexibility and a truly enveloping sound experience.

Subwoofer Outputs and Settings
Deliver evenly distributed, precise bass. Four subwoofer outputs help smooth out low frequencies and improve dispersion—no audible peaks or dips, just powerful, room-filling bass. When using more than two subwoofers, adjust your subwoofer settings: choose “Standard” for even bass distribution or “Directional” for bass that smoothly integrates with the speaker channel closest to each subwoofer in the room.

Pre-Amplifier Mode
Your Denon AV amplifier can function as a high-quality preamp with the latest HDMI connectivity. Pre-amplifier mode provides a cleaner signal path and greater clipping tolerance by disconnecting the internal amplifiers. Gain flexibility by disabling selected speaker channels so you can use the receiver’s built-in amplification for non-critical channels and ensure a cleaner signal path for those driven by external amplification.

Dirac Live Upgrade
The interaction between your audio system and the physical layout of your room has a huge impact on sound quality. Dirac Live® Room Correction applies advanced proprietary algorithms to analyze and digitally minimize room effects while enhancing speaker performance.
